IMHO, it depends what you need, and have available.
I use Office, and Libre.
For MOST of my usage, either does the job, mostly 'cos my usage is pretty simple. However, last time I did something halfway demanding in Excel (though not much more than cell-based data entry validation, and conditional formatting) OO wouldn't run it correctly.
So ... I use Office 2007 because I have it, and some earlier versions for the same reason, but on Linux machines I use Libre and both could and would manage with it if/when I switch all but legacy systems to Linux. I have no plans, and currently no need or intention, to upgrade Office. Which is partly why I, for my needs, reject the subscription model of Office365.
As for Google, as someone alluded to above, hell will freeze over first.
