WOW - how many gigabytes is a terrabyte? Isn't it 1000 gig?

That's absolutly LOADS, and I cannot see ANYONE actually filling it.

    107374182.4 Megabytes

In others words, a real Terabyte, unlike gmails fake (1000 Mb) Gigabyte, theres really 1024 MB in a gigabyte, but its rounded to 1000 MB, thats why your hdd's are smaller than they say

    Also, 500MB attachments

I don't see why anyone would need/want an email account that big though. Right now, I'm filling under 30 gigs on the whole of my PC, so I don't think I'd EVER fill 1000 gigs on email.

I'd have to keep it for YEARS and NEVER delete ANYTHING!

But you could use it as a drive (like you can with G-Mail) or if you were a file sharer, they might use it to send files about (through the mail servers).

Ever had it when someone says send me a patch or something, that's the ticket

I dunno why you're all sooo synical, accept it as fact, sign up and get on with your lives. Imagine 1 day (next 10 years) you've got your 1Gb internet connection and you need to email your 300MB presentation to a client which includes all the research, 1000DPI scans of documents etc all complety uncompressed. Wont you be happy you, and they have a 1TB account then

My harddrives, as listed in Windows Explorer.

I'm just saying, there are actually a lot of people that can use and fill a TB of space. Video files are especially good at chewing it up at a fightening rate.
