    Playing with options is akin to gambling. But the leverage means that you can make (and lose) a lot of money. Someone on r/wallstreetbets managed to turn $900 into $125000 by buying puts during this recent downturn. Not sure if I believe it though.https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetb...le_up_to_122k/

    Yeh I think I'll just stick to index funds.

    BTW the guy turned out to be paper trading and fabricating most of the trades.

    Also with the recent volatility and rally in the markets, a whole bunch of people just got burned when their puts dropped to near zero.
