    I just went to my local Tesco (Ipswich) & it actualy wasn't that bad. The mrs got scads of clothes in the sale too. Thought it was going to be mental but it wasn't bad. Not much fresh food left tho.

    Over the past 3 nights we have been going down to Tesco and have spent each time around £130. Hasnt been overly bad. Mother in law went down there this morning, really dont envy that one !!

    There and back in half an hour, job done

    Parked right outside the shop, quieter than a normal Sunday, and straight onto a till as well

    I worked at Sainsbury's on and off for 5 years, doing 4 Christmases, so I know just how bad it can be. I think Chrimbo being on a Saturday has helped this year, less people thinkin two days shut means a nuclear war!

    Seriously, people who work in shops over Christmas deserve a big for putting up with stressed customers and general a**holes! The first Christmas I ever did was 11 1/2 hours on the basket till, with a queue to the back of the shop all day, full of people moaning about queueing up for 1 1/2 hours for three things. You just want to shout, "you came here on ****ing Christmas Eve!

    Apparently Tesco's over-ordered Turkey's to the tune of 200,000 excess so they are selling them off really cheaply @ around £2 each!

    So if anyone thinks they want more Turkey, you know where to go lol.
