    Gaming mouse recommendations

    Hi

I'm looking at replacing my microsoft intellimouse as its started playing up, I been looking at replacement mice but some of them are silly money, I see a load of fake razor mice on ebay too.
I'm looking to spend about £35ish

    Any recommendations?

    Cheers

I've got an old Logitech MX518, still going and still working well. I think they were replaced with the g400 or something. Looks the same shape, different colour...

Another vote for Logitech. Great hardware and some of the best customer support in the business.

    Re: Gaming mouse recommendations

I'm using a steelseries rival 300 and have to say I like it. Great size for me as I have quite big hands, so a lot of the more common small mice are simply uncomfortable for me (looking at you Corsair).

Has served me well so far, and if you buy it from their website they give you a "free" mouse mat. I say "free" because you can buy the mouse and mat separately elsewhere such as Amazon for near enough the same price.

Obviously I can't speak for longevity of it as I've only had it a few months, but it's been working great for me. The 300 is a rebrand of the original Rival but with the issues like the rubber grips wearing away fixed.

I use a Coolermaster Inferno Storm Twin Laser, its an ok mouse, plenty of buttons and adjustable DPI, though the current model is no longer available there is an updated one. Same with the G400 mentioned, the newer model of that is the G402 though it does look quite different.

To add an extra option, I bought a Sharkoon Drakonia last year and have been hugely impressed with it for the low price. I'd pay extra for the non-green one..

    Re: Gaming mouse recommendations

My MX518 is still going strong after 6 years, and it's a refurb after the first one's cable frayed after 18 months of use. Logitech's customer service was so good, they agreed that 18 months wasn't a very long lifespan for the product, and replaced the mouse for me, free of charge, after I'd provided a photo of the damage.

Not many companies would do that!

I also, until recently, had the matching G15 keyboard, unfortunately I spilt about 100ml of water into it, and it died
