It's definitely slow for me this morning - opening a link is taking about 45 seconds each time. I thought it was just my internet connection!
I noticed it started last night and seems to have continued to today. I also experienced it briefly Friday afternoon.
Probably server maintenance over the weekend to minimise disruption.
Yeah, the forum has been slow since Friday.
The forum has been incredibly slow for me, main site seem unaffected though???
Jon
Yep, awfully slow! Quite often experience problems with this forum
Achingly slow.....
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Yes it's been very slow, but I only use about four sites consisently and they've all been vry slow.
Awful for me on Virgin.
Yup, dead slow. AAISP.
I just assumed it was a massive non-rate-limited SQL data exfiltration campaign resulting in SQL blocking & saturated upstream.
... but that's just me being pessimistic.
BT Infinity here - same problem, but hard to tell if it's solely Hexus having the problem. Some sites are slow others are fine. I thinking it's the last day of the school/academic holiday, maybe all the kids are online enjoying their last day of freedom.
Just about to post this myself, been this way for a few days. I'm on Virgin.
Ye I've noticed it too, I thought it was my connection at first, but everything else seems to be fine.
I'm on KC lightstream, KC is pretty much entirely self contained to Hull and the very close surrounding towns, so shouldn't be the ISP back end not coping with the entire country like if it was BT.
Good to know I'm not the only one seeing it. Other sites have been loading for more fine as always, but on KC's copper we often had periodic instability, so I was concerned it might have been that at first.
Ebay has been doing the same thing for me and Gumtree where I have got constant 404 errors though the site itself is up.
