i have the budweiser fridge (got it as a pressie.)
these pictures should answer most of your questions about it.

that's 8x330ml coke cans or 6x440ml stella cans or 4x500ml carlsberg cans. or one very squashed and mangled half-empty 2l coke bottle.

it's quite noisy (but not unbareably so.) it has vents at the top of the left (hot air out) and the right (cold air in). comes complete with a car cigarette plug and a normal uk plug. they'res a switch on the back for hot, off, cold and ac, off, dc. it can cool stuff down in about 20 mins, but it isn't as cold as a proper fridge. the hot function just creates a lot of condensation.

looks quite good though, and reasonably portable.

Question to all the people that own this fridge:

Can you leave it on all the time or does it suggest you just leave it on for like 12 hours at a time?

i don't have the manual infront of me, but afaik it didn't state any maximum on time. it doesn't feel like something that should be on all the time though.

Cheers for the reply. Think i might put it on one of those time dependent power adapters so its only on from say 10am till when i tun it off at night.

Maplins usually have them on offer during the summer months for about £35. They sell them most of the time for £60 tho.

Theirs can be powered from mains or by cigarette lighter

I just couldnt justify the price for something that doesnt even hold a single 2 liter bottle

That maplin one is ok, rather have a full glass front i think. And it would have to be quite to go in a student's room, in my experience fridges tend to be loud at times would hate to have to share a room with a non-silent one

Excellent, the white one is even cheaper. It'll probably be the one i go for.
