We too, have had a week down in Pembrokeshire, but that was in half term so it doesn't really count as summer hols.... I have managed to sneak a couple of days off last week though. We've been to the Lowther Game Fair a couple of weeks ago, went to the Torver country fair and visited Chester's Fort on Hadrian's wall this week, and had a stomp around Delamere Forest looking for Gruffalo. hose are just the bits I've been able to join in with - the rest of the family's been very active, doing all sorts of things all across Lancs
I believe we're going to the tractor pulling at Gt Eccleston on the bank holiday as well! Need to borrow some ear defenders from detachment

Yeah, holiday...I've been dreaming of one, does that count?
Lost a guy at work, and other guys had booked time already so I've been locked down.
However, there's a chance of a weekend away in Antequera, Spain. See if we can manage that one last minute on a long, bank-holiday weekend.

It was horrible! I was just working
We went to Bulgaria for 2 weeks from 12th August. Hotel was just ok for a 4 Star, food though was inedible at the hotel which is never good for All Inclusive, pool was tiny and only 40 sunbeds for nigh on 300+ guests.
The weather was nice but it was very humid & sticky.
Best days were the jeep safari, aquapark at Nessebar and also we went to the Balkan Mountain range which was amazing experience.
Won't be going back as the strip there on Sunny Beach is all cheap knock off clothing, toys, bars and so on, badgered into going into resteraunts and bars became to much. Ended up spending a fortune whilst there having to eat out 11 of the 14 nights.
Roll on Turkey next April
I've been not working very hard at all, partying pretty damn hard, then this weekend I'm off to Brighton for a meditation retreat, followed by a week in cape verde sandwiched by 10-hour daytime layovers in Lisbon, before I go back to uni (open university).
Unemployed all summer
