I think the wings need to be swept back more and maybe if the match was lighted before take off thus scareing the fly's to work harder.

That might do it

they work!!!

my friend made a much simpler version with only 2 flies and no wheels...

It took off and flew around, was GREAT fun.

All you have to do is catch some flies, put them in the freezer for about 5 minutes, then take them out, apply glue to their feet and voila...
