If I buy an item from scan which is Dispatched from and sold by Scan Computers Intl Ltd, would it be delivered next day BT DPD?
Also for returns, does it get sent to Amazon or Scan?
Can't get free hexus delivery because of avforum link :/

Why not just buy the items from Scan.co.uk, last time i checked Scan items on Amazon were more expensive than going direct (I could be wrong) I would assume the Items still come from Scan using DPD as that's their preferred carrier.
And the SCAN website is rubbish than Amazon's!
The items on Amazon are "Dispatched from and sold by Scan Computers Intl Ltd.", delivery isnt free, unless a particular item states it, and are delivered by DPD, or whoever Scan choose instead.
As its Scan, its likely to be "next day" delivery, however, it depends when they process their Amazon orders compared to ones on their own website, as that has a next day cut off time.
As for returns, they go back to Scan, not Amazon.
I wonder if Amazon requires them to be better at returns and customer service...
Amazon is, as far as I can tell, just giving them a place to sell their own things, their own way.
However.
You can give feedback on the seller, which might cause Amazon to take measures against complaints.
You're right - however amazon also provide buyers with their "A-Z Guarantee" even on marketplace items, so if you have a dispute and Scan don't sort it out, then Amazon will step in and you get your money back (if they find in your favour). They get the money back directly from Scan. I've had to use this service before (but not for an item from Scan!) and they sorted things out quick;y and easily
I'd be tempted to buy from Scan through Amazon in that case, it might be a little more expensive but looking at how Scan deal with returns it's probably worth paying the extra for Amazon's protection.
I'd much rather deal with Scan themselves. Never had issues with the company and I prefer to avoid middlemen. Especially ones as greedy and enviromentally unfriendly as Amazon.
