MattH worked hard and recorded some great stuff. Cranble has been very popular so far, so please everyone keep watching, as we will keep turning out the content to help everyone cook well :-)

As one of those annoying people with intolerances, it would be good to filter OUT certain recipes based on Main ingredients or groups of ingredients. Obviously this would need a bit more data behind it to make it useable. Food for thought eh?
e.g I want a lovely tasty sauce to go with steak, but that doesn't have cream in it. Or something....
(I have what I think is one of the most annoying combo's of intolerance... Carbohydrates and Dairy... Jacket Potato with Cheese and Coleslaw... NOPE, Pizza. NOPE. Creamy Potato Dauphinoise. NOPE.)

I'm also lactose intolerant (You say you're dairy intolerant, but I'm assuming that's the same thing) and have found these things to be worth their weight in something with a high price:weight ratio.

Alas, No. It's Dairy Protein AND Lactose. I've tried this newfangled A2 Milk, that while it was better for the rhinitis then set off my lactose intolerance too.
Low-level Dairy Allergy (I get allergic rhinitis, cheese hayfever if you will if I have too much)
Lactose intolerance (Usual Gastric issues associated with Lactose)
Complex Carb (Starches) intolerance.
I take Amylase and Lactase enzymes occasionally but they only lessen the symptoms and come with their own side effects if I have too many
Basically most of the time it's best if I avoid both. But that's enough about my guts.

Like the 2 things that make being a foodie, not worth being a foodie. No Starchy Carbs or Dairy. Almost not worth bothering with eating tbh.
I overindulged on Friday and over the weekend and am still paying for it today.
I take Polyzyme and Carbozyme (x2) when I NEED to have potato (and have no social engagements the next day) but do that too often and it has an opposite problem.
I loved Lactofree - I think it's the best thing since sliced, err, milk. But I was constantly snotty which gives you bad breath. Not conducive to snogging.
So that's what lead me to believe that I have a low level dairy allergy. Avoiding Milk all together makes me feel so much better and the chances of finding a hot young thing to lock lips with goes up exponentially

We virtually specialise in restricted diets. And doing the 5:2 fast has introduce a whole plethora of ways to replace carbs with things containing no calories.
I do love a challenge
