Space X - launches a load of sat's and lands again on a tiny little pad

OK... cant help but be impressed.

    again.

Space X yesterday shot up, launched a handful of satellites and then came back down and landed like a boss on a little floating pad in the ocean

Elon must be say there eating his cornfakes wth his Tesla charging in thre drive, thinking "what's the fuss.. it's what I designed it to do"

    but I am impressed.

TBF,I am more excited by what Reaction Engines can achieve with SABRE. Sure reusable rockets are an improvement but they are still rockets - I kind of expected SSTO by now. We are still pretty much launching stuff the same way we did 50 years ago.

    Edit!!

Engines like SABRE will also have implications for faster point to point travel by aircraft too.

The precooler technology is one of the biggest innovations we have seen in the last decade.

Even DARPA is interested in it seems.

Also a tech developed here in the UK!
