Re: Soo.....how was everyone else's weekend?

Kitchen knife blood was gushing like in a saw movie. It happened on Sunday, I was out of the hospital in like an hour or so. For some reason I thought it would be very busy but everything moved very quickly.

Yeah that sounds a lot worse. All along the way there I was thinking about how horrible what had happened was but just behind me in the queue was a little girl had severed her finger and her dad was holding her hand and then an icepack with her little finger with the other hand.

I have a scar on my left index finger from a kitchen knife many years' ago. I got it from trying to stab a corned beef can open after the key broke off!

I've had a few incidents like that but they weren't bad and were bad scratches more than anything else.

I've got a scar very similar to that - tried to open a carton of orange juice with a carving knife when I was about 10 years old. Needless to say, it didn't end well!

Re: Soo.....how was everyone else's weekend?

as for what I did this weekend.

sat in my room going "urgh its hot".

wondered whether to go up to the loft to watch the airshow.

still sat in my room going "urgh the loft is even hotter"

then regretted not going to the loft, could have watched the mig strafe bombing run, with proper 'splosions. saw the red arrows fly past the house though - where we are, the road layout, makes a big T with coast road/lord street being one bit. I assume they use this big T to line up going to the beach. and they fly right past my house, one year my mum waved at the pilot they were that close.

there were a bunch of planes that were also at that RAF 100 thingy in London today.

then I went to the toilet while sleepy.

    I pissed on my foot.

There were a lot more stories involving piss than i expected tbh and none of them involved a jellyfish. The weather seems to be far more bearable today.

It was a bit good weekend, but it will turn great when English premier league (market tabloid) and Spanish laliga start in August, both are my favorites.
