The Big Butterfly Count is currently running.
If you have 15 minutes spare on a nice sunny day then spend it in your garden and log down any butterfly you see.
There is an app for IOS and Android or choose the iRecord app.
Butterflies and Bees are on the decline which is an indicator as to the state of the enviroment.
I actually monitor an area around a solar farm which is a rather good place for some butterflies. Nature and technology can work hand in hand.
