    Ebay watchers not visible

Have searched the ebay boards to no particular avail, anyone have experience/suggestions as to why one sellers watchers should be visible in search results & under the listing itself & not others (ie me, but others have clearly had this too).

I can see watch count under the same item as mine for a very ordinary small-scale seller, not a business seller or anything. Have checked when not logged in as myself. The most I get is the "1 watched in the last 24 hours" thing where applicable. It's not a huge deal but it's annoying me that I can't find a reason.

    ebay is a bit broken.

In 2018, thousands of people found they couldn't "unwatch" items... even after they're finished.

I believe ebay flushed the entire system so everything was reset to zero.. but I think it's still broken.

^ same, plus on the selling side the only effect people have on me that watch an item for (I swear) a period running into years is that I develop a deep & abiding personal grudge & raise the price of something that I probably would have reduced if no watchers implied no interest/overpriced.

Seriously, if you've watched something that long, cough up for it or go away.

Stuff like clicking on links that take you to a duff page.. (applications/listing analytics), and the latest for me, trying to add a tracking number & being told that number is already associated with another item.. the watching thing is mainly annoying because if it's going to work for some not all, why me.
