I swore I wouldn't do it. I swore I'd not buy the new COD game but I did.
I started trying to play it for the 30 minutes I had free at 2000. It's now 2022 and I've tried starting it about 8 times. It will not work and it's all because it demands a server connection even for the single player. The server connection appears to be playing up and so my £30 is worthless.
This anti-piracy stuff (requiring YET ANOTHER LAUNCHER) with more mandatory updates is making gaming untenable for me. I can not cope with 20-25 minutes of pratting around every time I want to play a game. It's a GAME. It's easier to launch a SAM against an airliner.
If this gets any worse, I'm done with PC gaming. It's anti-consumer tactics at its worse.
I've actually spent more time faffing with the DRM related stuff than I have playing the game. It's utterly stupid.
