    Re: Guilty Pleasures

Battery, as well you know.. but I could definitely raise a mob and arm them with some of them....

    and another unsettling guilty pleasure.

spare gloves....rigger gloves...leather ones. proper jobs, everywhere I might need them. Garage.. shed... car... tool box... everywhere

    Re: Guilty Pleasures

    I'm trying to think...
I honestly don't know that I feel guilty about any of mine....

    But looking at the definition:
"A guilty pleasure is something, such as a film, a television program or a piece of music, that one enjoys despite understanding that it is not generally held in high regard, or is seen as unusual or weird"

That instead covers just about everything!!
From my obssessions with Aliens (1986) and Spacehunter (1983) to having eleven different compasses, geeking out over guns, getting snobby over outdoor and tacticool kit, tech regarded as obsolete or failed concept and usually niche anyway...

Heck, my whole life is pretty much a guilty pleasure!!

Me too, although not just limited to automatics, basically any watch I like the look of. Anything from an Omega Seamaster to a cheapo £45 Accurist GMT watch. Also have a nice Seiko Alpinist SARB017 but I need to sell that as it's too small for wrist but love my Seiko 4R36-01J0 Monster Shark Tooth. Plus an Ebel 1911 BTR Chronograph, a TAG Heuer, Oris Big Crown Complication Moon phase.

Too many watches, too little time!!

Then we come to plastic model kits, mainly WWII props, must have about 50 unmade kits in the loft, ready for my retirement in about 20 years! Generally expensive 1/48th scale and bigger kits, some rare as rocking horse poo. Plus all the Tamiya RC car kits I wanted as a boy e.g. Top Force, Egress, Avante & one other whose name escapes me now.

And finally Lego Technic & Star Wars UCS kits. Mainly the flagship Technic kits and cheaper UCS ones like the Tie Fighter, Snowspeeder & Y-Wing. If the wife finds all them I'm a dead man!!
