Censoring youtube

Hi,
Bit of a weird one. My youngest is autistic, and watches a LOT of Youtube. Is it possible to blacklist a channel or video? He's watching stuff with loads of Roblox type characters in it with load of swear words. He then parrots what he's watched.

I can't find any way of doing it, even after buying Youtube premium. I can't put him on Youtube kids as the icon is different.

Surely there must be a way? He usually accesses Youtube on an iPhone/iPad. Any ideas?

Not a problem I've had, and other than router-level blocking of Youtube in it's entirety, I can't think of one. I also can't believe it's the first time a parent has wanted to exercise some control though.

Nagging at the back of my mind is something, perhaps confused, about an age limit for YT anyway, so maybe they don't 'allow' kids on the main site at all?? That would allow them tonot imlement any restrictions. It's probably just me getting confused, anyway.

Nope. 'Blocking' users stops them commenting on stuff you've uploaded. Removing from suggestions etc doesn't really help either. I don't want the videos to appear at all, or just not work if he clicks them. Doesn't seem like there is a way to do that.

I might have to investigate this a bit more. He watches some really weird stuff, like repeating patterns with noise, which probably wouldn't be whitelisted as 'kids' stuff though. Really I can't believe that you can't just say - don't show stuff from this channel. Seems like a simple thing to implement.
