I'm getting a prompt that Hexus isn't using https, should I be worried? I also noticed links posted on the Bargains forum aren't working anymore.

Are the forums going to continue to function, or is the hosting going to come to an end?

I'd be terribly sad if I lost contact with everyone without prior warning.

I can't give any categoric answers to those, but ... a few thoughts :-

- I'd be very surprised if the forums just stopped "without prior warning". That just wouldn't be in character with David.

- I haven't spoken to him recently (I know he'd extremely busy), but last time we chatted, there was no hint he's planning to stop the forums and I certainly don't think it'd be without warning.

- My guess, and I'd stress that it is just a guess, is that he's content, at least for now, to just let things tick along. Longer term? Who knows. Everything has (clearly) slowed down a lot, but there is still that stubborn core of regulars coming here, and I'd guess (that word again ) that the forums are still up at least in part due to that. The less we use them, perhaps the greater the chance the plug get's pulled.

Just my thoughts, and not based on being told anything specific.

I haven't checked in here myself for a few days because of the security warning. Likewise, I wouldn't want to lose contact with anyone on here without any warning. I hope the issue can be resolved soon
