Not wanting to feed the overly dominant shopping machine that is Amazon too much but has anyone found any decent deals?
If so feel free to let the good people know!

Loads of cheap(er) Garmins but nothing that hasn't been a deal at other retailers a million times before. The 6950xt for £400 was cracking while it lasted
Everything on my 'wish list' is about £3 cheaper than last week but I am sure its still higher than its 'normal' price
Jon
Actually this is a pretty good deal if anyone is in the market for a class D amp:

Bought it at like 80 quid last year and has been great for my speakers, small compact and covers most BT audio standards.
Red Dwarf on Blu Ray @ £30

I bet the early sets stand up well in HD
I've been watching the Quest 3, the price has gone up on Amazon for Prime day...
Gonna get it from Very as well and referral/voucher it down to <£350, at that price, rude not too...
12 pairs of pants, they weren't on offer just back in stock. they're really comfy ones.
I bought a new monitor that I had my eye on recently, but as there seemed to be a very low percentage of take-up on the offer I suspect that either it didn't appeal to others like it did me, or there were better deals I might have gone for but just wasn't aware of.
On the subject of Red Dwarf, I did buy The Promised Land on Blu-Ray to complete my Red Dwarf Blu-Ray collection, as it was reduced to £9.47 on Prime Day.
It's apparently been cheaper than that in the past, but since I'd made a couple of attempts (which were cancelled for some reason) to buy a second-hand version for a little more recently, I bought it anyway.
Round two of Prime Day deals is on. Being so close to the previous one I didn't think it warranted its own post.

Makes me wonder if they're having to run it this close to the July one if it hasn't been as successful as previous years.
I'm tending to stick to trackers, it means I don't have to buy 1 month of Prime for a good deal and I rarely need anything next day.
That makes me feel so sorry for poor ol' Amazon, having to tout deals around again that out of sympathy, I mght buy a few ..... nah, who am I kidding? Even I can't sell that line of bull-wotsit.
I think Amazon can probably survive without my contribution.
That said, I am on the hunt for some stuff so IF I happen to spot it at a really good price, I might tyet indulge. But I don't really bother much even chcking ouut Prime days of various name variations, because in recent years, I can't think of anything I've seen at enough of a difference in price that i give a hoot. nd that's without mentioning the "deals" that somehow seem t have gone UP (*) since I started speccing out a purchase a few weeks ago.
(*) Yes, I know Amazon prices tend to go up and down faster than an especially eenthusiastic working girl's drawers, but even I've been surprised at some recent Amazon price updates on items in my basket. There's one item that's changed price a good 30 times, at least, in the last three weeks or so and I swear, it hasnt varied more than 2p from the original price the ee ntire time (i.e. up one or two pence at a time, then down, then down a bit more, then up, but at initial price +/- 2p, at most. Why bother? I'm sure not going to suddenly buy 'cos, hey, i can really indulge with that 2p I saved. It is funny to watch though.

I bought an electric razor a few days ago, according to camelcamelcamel it was the cheapest it was ever been. I didn't wait until the 'sale', and I am glad I didn't. The same razor is now twice the price!
Jon
And I wonder why that could be.....
I've had a couple NVMe drives on my watchlist for a while, though the prices have gone up by almost £50 since I first listed them.
Went to check for Prime Day deals, and the 'deal' on these is that the flippin' things are even more expensive than usual!!
Amazon seem to have gotten the concept of discounts backwards.

I've commented before that my old law lecturer (a barrister) used to say (referring to non-consumer purchases, admittedly) "before buying a horse, walk around it and check there's a leg on each corner". It seems that philosophy holds true for Prime. And non-Prime too, I guess.
