    Banana in Disk Drive Error!

So the Youtube algorithm did its thing and somehow I found myself listening to a few Amiga video game covers by this Italian pianist lady.

It started with Huelsbeck's 'The Great Bath' from Turrican 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ve2i...&start_radio=1

But eventually this one came up:

The notes pointed out something I never knew, the theme was originally written as an 80's ballad...

So if you're in the mood for a weird mix of videogame nostalgia and an 80's vibe:

Jon Hare - Narcissus (Cannon Fodder theme music)

Have a good one and remember to pour one into your vents for Jools, Jops and the boys!

I never had an amiga and the only time I encountered Cannon Fodder was at a friend's house. I mustn't have made it far enough to hear that music. This is the one that leaps to mind when someone says cannon fodder to me:

Fun as a child, slightly more pithy and bad taste considering the horrors currently taking place around the world.
