Never walk out of a job, and never tell new employees you left because your last company gave you too much work.
I changed my overdraft and my credit bills into a graduate loan. I found it okay (just two months now from paying it all off completely). The interest rates weren't too awful, and the loan was very flexible i.e. I could pay extra off if I came into any extra money at work, or I could add to the loan if I wanted to buy something big without resorting to a credit card.
Biggest benefit for me was consolidating my debts into one payment, and starting afresh, as it were. It meant my first pay packet as a stupidly-overpaid graduate was all for me, rather than just being swallowed by a mammoth overdraft.
