1 GB Xd cards where to get?

I bought the fujifilm F10 (which i throughly recommend over other similar sized and priced cameras)

unfrotunatly its draw back is Xd cards. Saying that a 1 Gb can be had for under
    £60 -- £53 at dabs.

These cards though are not from the Uk so have no warranty with fujifilm etc
    in the uk.

Does anyone know what the law is on these things... If i buy from ebuyer do they have to cover the 1 year statutory warranty? or if they dont do they?
also how about dabs and others like aria or any others you know of.

cheers any related comment is appreciated.

Aria doesnt do Xd at that size... they only do 512mb max... and those are £49 ex vat (just checked)

Id find it hard to believe that you can get a 1Gb card for less than £55 unless bought off of ebay... as i deal with these capacities at a drop of a hat... having both a 2gb and a 1gb CF card... which arent cheap either...

As for warranty... unless the place you buy it from specifically tells you that its warranty is valid in the UK (and any company that offers shipping to the UK usually does) then your unlikely to have a valid warranty within the UK...

dabs does the new 1 GB Xd cards for £53 including Vat. I remember reading about
ebuyer and their grey import cameras and someone said that ebuyer themselves take on
the 1 year warrenty. I wonder if they do the same for Xd cards I would email them but
i get the feeling i wont get an answer.

I've never bought from ebuyer so i cant comment im afraid... i would say dont worry too much about warranty... especially 1yr... and ive never heard of anyone having any problems with them...
