Friendly suggestion/request

Due to the fact that I am incredibly stupid, dumb and just plain retarded, I have a habit of clicking the quote button instead of edit, editing the post as usual and clicking submit, resulting in me quoting my own posts.

Therefore I'd love it if we were given the ability to delete our own posts as well as edit them

There is no real need for anyone to have access to the delete option It causes issues if it is allowed. None of the main forums I visit have it turned on

Sadly, its not gonna happen.

Just in case someone replies real fast and you then delete the entire thread and lose that reply.

It has cost ME too....so I understand. Once, while a bit drunk, I commented on a young ladies evenings entertainment, in a thread, and had to edit it when I re read it......by then ]-[ippie (wheres HE gone, miss ya dude) had Quoted me.....and as I went down the page editing it, he followed winding me up!

i see your point zak but it was on before, i could delete my own posts, unfortunatly wether its on or off there are gonna be hiccups.

Multiple posts shouldnt happen because you cant post more than 1 message every 30 seconds - or atleast you didnt used to beable to, it should be the same now,

u cant, but it happens sumtimes, mainly while were lagy

why cant we have delete? is it just because if we delete it then other peoples replys (if there VERY quick) get lost?.. maybe u could set it so after 2 minuits then we cant delete, but we have 2mins to delete it if we need to? (like editing the topic of threads)

There is an EDIT button which you can use. I have visited forums where some poeple have been deleting their own posts. It can cause issues, however I see the good points as well.

If you make a mistake, just edit it and say so! We are all human.
