Full of absinthe, raki, Ouzo and various other "deadly" drinks....

ONES I will no longer touch are as follows ;

Rum - Minging.... purely minging
Buckfast - Jesus, who bottled liquid evil flavoured essence and thought they would sell it as an "alcoholic" beverage
Skol - Fizzy gnats urine, simple as .....

I'm also getting a little bored with Cheeky Vimto's at the moment as they are getting too sweet ( Port + Blue WKD if you don't know what a cheeky vimto is )

I recall one night going to the ISOBAR ( now north ) and they had 40 flavoured vodka's - each was a pound or you got 6 for 5 pounds.

25 pounds worth later and just after the pepperami and chilli varieties my legs decided to give way

It was fun getting home as we had to walk from Winton to Walkden at 2am staggering all over the place.

I can't drink vodka, it instantly makes heave-ho As always, there's a story:

I was about 17 years old, just chilling witha bunch of friends at someones house, when some idiot had the (at the time) brilliant idea of playing a drinking game while watching Star Wars Ep:4. The only spirits we had was a few 2litre bottles of nasty cheap vodka, so shot glasses were procured and charged ready. The game was simple, we are each randomly assigned a star wars character, and whenever that person is named in the film, or referred to, you have to down a shot of vodka.

Everyone laughed as people were assigned various characters, and i thought I had got off lightly as 'Luke', 'Leia' and 'Darth Vader' had already been assigned. It comes my turn to reach into the carrier bag and grab a crumpled piece of paper. The room goes quiet in anticipation. My face falls as i read the name.

Obi Wan Kenobi.

On first thought, not too bad, then you think of the scene were R2D2 replays the message from Leia, quite near the beginning of the film.

"Help me Obi Wan. Help me Obi Wan. Help me Obi Wan. Help me Obi Wan"

I was in tears, and can no longer drink even a single shot of vodka.

Drank most things under the sun, never had a bad experience off drink so I just have my tastes, Whiskey and a nice proper Ale, none of this water they call lager

Start the night off with a few of the Mordue Brewery ale's Raggie Gadgie and workie ticket etc etc, then a few Jack and Cokes then if the money is there have a nice single barrel whiskey No point in going out for the sake of cramming as much crap down your neck, go out and savour the taste of a good beer.

Damn now I want a beer..........
