to be honest getting an MP3 player without LOTS of memory *OR* upgradable memory is bloody pointless and annoying....

So either get a hard drive based player, or a player than uses Smart Media/ Multi-Media Cards = fairly cheap upgradable storage etc...

Regarding what you said Bunji, it is indeed true, a tedious task for the mp3 player to have small capacity, though what i'm needing this for is to be compact, main use is just so i can keep it in my pocket without hindrance as it will be used during basketball training plus store a few songs on plus use it to transfer files to and fro studios, I may consider an iPod at a later date of course ;]

damn fine player, expensive, but better than the muvo nx
My only fault is that the LCD screen could have been far bigger if they had put that damn logo somewhere else, or made it smaller. It's almost blasphemy...

And for the record, I have a Muvo NX and I am extremely happy with it - the only problem I had was that the USB ports on my computer are really screwy, which has nothing to do with the player, but annoyed me nonetheless. I recommend one for sporting needs, the included armband is extremely handy - but I'd get the 256 meg version, as 128 isn't all that many more songs than a regular CD.

Also, the fact that it uses one AAA battery rather than a rechargable is handy, as it's hard to find a computer with a USB drive to charge in when you're on the move...
