hi guys, i've been doing some researching for a new digital camera and now my head hurts. my current digital camera is Fuji Finepix 4900 Zoom. nice camera with 6x optical zoom and lots of manual settings to play with. recently i've bought a Canon 300D with 18-55mm Lens Kit from staples. it's an amazing camera but i think i'm really not adept enough to be using it
plus i miss the 6x zoom. so i'm thinking of selling both of them and get a new one. here's where the headache started. i couldn't decide between these camera:
1) Fuji S5500
- cheapest of the lot, no image stabiliser though
2) Panasonic Lumix FZ5
- great all around, no manual focus
3) Konica Minolta Z3
- no AF illuminator
4) Canon S2 IS
- best of the lot i think but the most expensive too
i'm undecided obviously. hopefully someone here with first hand experiences with any of the cameras above could shine a light of wisdom unto me. feel free to recommend other cameras too. cheers to all![]()
