Dunno why it's all so middle aged... I'm only mid thirties for a bleedin' start!... so unl;ess you lot want to see me in me grave early, I wouldn't call that middle aged.

Anyway, no point chucking away something that has the potential to be usable... It's for the missus to use, so it's fine for the job.

My bike is a different kettle of fish... another self-build but this time using new components... got meself a full suspension frame and started bolting on bits from there. It's nothing superbly special, but it's the satisfaction you get from bombing around on something you made yourself.

Getting a bit miffed with the frame now though, so I might swap all the bits off at some point in the future... either that or just go get meself a motorbike instead... Quite fancy a little 125 dirt bike to pootle around on...

The most middle aged sentence ever uttered in the history of human existence.

OiD, you and Nick should get together for some sort of middle aged homosexual encounter.

You and Nick are so alike, I'm sure it would be the best sex either of you have ever had.

You'd make a great couple lads, and I'm a modern man, as are most Hexites, so we'd all attend the 'wedding', have no worries about that.

Go on... one of you call the other, you never know.

Awwww. I hope you are very happy together.

    Cool

My brother has a KX 250 off-road motorbike and its CRAZY once it hits "power-band". Word of warning though Nick - If you get one the police tend to "moan" at people that use off-road bikes for various reasons

AS for Vauls comments - ignore him, he's jealous as he spends all day watching Trisha and other rubbish daytime television shows, sat wearing his versace jeans instead of getting all Oily and grubby while doing manly stuff like building a bike from old/new parts

I only had a knackered MT50 in my Grandad's field- still better than most kids I suppose but I'd have killed for a 250 (or more likely killed myself ). Still, I managed to get it powersliding, jumping and pulling fourth gear stand up wheelies, and with 3bhp I really felt like I'd earned them.

So have we, Search for Worsley, Walkden and Little Hulton and you'll find that the whole area around me is infact a lot of country-side mixed with slag-heaps, disused open cast mines with ready made bumps for jumping and even the highest slagheap deposits in Europe which are ideal for using with motocross bikes and its not as if we're on the roads weaving inbetween cars and pedistrians, yet the police FREQUENTLY patrol these areas on their off-road bikes and they have actually arrested a few people for riding on this land thats not even fit for any other purpose.

I suppose they have arrest people to get their figures up so pick on the "law abiding" folks that are a soft target like me rather than the drug dealers and the junkies that break into houses all the time
