Ebay 'secrets' read now, don't pay later.

I hate ebayers who sell information such as '100" Tv - no joke, £5' or 'unlock your nokia mobile for £2.50'

    St00pid, st00pid st00pid.

They just rake in cash out of mugs. I'll never pretend to be a silly ebay mug, no, not me.

    So!

http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ - unlock your nokia free (from www.moneysavingexpert.co.uk)

And those 100" TV's they sell are fresnel lenses and a plan for a carboard box. You have to turn your TV upside down which unsuprisingly makes it go green as the gun misfires.

http://freesim.o2.co.uk/messages.php - free sim cards offered time to time. Check daily to see if today is your lucky day

Unlock your ford fiesta's secret digital speed display - little known secret on the car. When you get in, hold down the mile counter reset button for ten seconds. Then turn on the engine still holiding it. The speedo will jump and it'll come up with the words 'test'. You can now let go and use the mile counter reset button to cycle through the menu. Turn off your car and it goes back to normal.

Coke machines - using (big?) buttons from top to bottom, number them 1, 2, 3, 4. Ignore the rest. Press button 4, 2, 3, 1 in that order. You can then use 2,3 to navigate the engineer menu, 1 to go back a level, 4 to select. Works on about 60% of the ones I've tried.

Pool table/fruit machines refill key - This is known as a 'fun' key. They are available from any locksmith for very little money. Allows you to refil fruit machines or on old style pool tables to get at the balls :- )

Maygay fruit machines - You can memory dump them by using the hold keys. Label each one in order 1, 2, 3. Then type in 1, 2, 3, 2, 3, 1, 3. The lights go out, it says 'memory dump' then sits there like a lemon for about 5 minutes. Quite funny.

Add any other 'scams' below :- )

Long gone are the days when people used e-bay to sell off old tat

Saw one yesterday while looking to see how much i could get for my old mobile, someone was selling information on how to get a free Samsung E-700 with a picture of the phone, bids were over £70, surely things like this shouldn't be allowed?

Oh they are... but I'd like to gather the information to make up a 'dispelling the ebayers myth' FAQ. If anyone has actually purchased 'free to distribute' ebooks, mail 'em to dontposthere@hotmail.com and I'll host 'em on a webpage for everyone.

Please explain? Is this to get free drinks?

Aparently 'old' machines can dispense drinks, though I'm yet to find one. Otherwise you can see how much money the machine has taken since it was last emptied/started collecting. I have found some (like about 2) machines able to change the cost of an item - but the minimum was 40p.

So unless you have a fork lift truck than can help you make-away with an entire coke machine, it's not hideously useful :- )

lol - obviously you guys are holding onto your 'secrets' far harder than I do. I think it's better to share the knowledge with the many rather than the few. Now I wonder who's the first person to call me a communist...

lol - most of the vending machines I know crush you should you turn them upside down. They have very sophisticated locking mechanisms that stop that kind of thing. Oh, and a special device for dismembering small childrens arms.

Oh how the engineers laughed when they designed that one...

    Free money guide!

After a nice sweaty gig with lots of moshing, hang around until the crowds have gone then go round picking up all the money that people have lost. You may look trampy but you can't argue with £14.50, my PB
