What sort of apprenticeships are available that are to do with PCs, technology, etc, for someone who is leaving sixth form, and isn't planning on going to university, like myself? Any ideas?

You'll still have to study a course in a uni/college/education centre for like.. a day a week, btw.

I'm just thinking of ideas when I leave college anyway. Long time away yet

Your best bet is to do some voluntary hanging about your local friendly PC companies. Get yourself noticed and get yourself a weekend job. This will make things far easier for you when you leave.
You mean at local PC shops or bigger places?

R-points pyramid scheme is NOT allowed on HEXUS. Please do not add it back again - thank you.
I mean local PC shops. Bigger retailers don't require anybody with any knowledge about PCs are about anything else for that matter.
Start small and work up. Bypass the high-street morons and try to use your knowledge to get into someone like IBM or Dell.
P.S. It might help if you were living in India for the last two......
