Lost post

I just spent the last hour writing up a post with lost of links to pictures of my mods, only when I click submit I get an error message saying theres too many images. I click back and the whole lot is gone. These were links to images hosted externally, surely these shouldn't be limited! And if they are, shouldn't there be some way of warning people before they lose everything?

I dont usually loose anything if pressing back in IE.
[img ] tags are restricted though so people dont insert loads of big pictures in one post.

you can link to pictures instead of inserting them, which id prefer with large images anyway .. or you could have a page hosted with ur images with thumbnails etc.. so u can click them to see a larger one

I had done it all with thumbnails linking to larger images, took me ages.

a little tip for the future... if you're writing a huge complicated post, select it all, and copy it (either just to clipboard, or to notepad aswell), before you hit the submit reply button... your normally safe just to hit the back button, but sometimes it breaks .
