need a watch for the musses..

ello guys.. its the better 'alfs bday comnig up and i know she kinda wants a new watch (so i'm getting one amongst other stuff). she's got a really posh watch (some gucci thing, cost her £500 or something) so wants something to wear every day..

now, i'd thought this would be nice:

    http://www.quaywest-chandlers.co.uk/Products/product_pages/product_ANI_WW916$WW913$WW914.html

    http://www.hargreavesuk.com/site/sho...2C59hVI3B5E790

in silver so it'd 'go' with lots of outfits etc (thoughtful bloke me) - i've got an animal watch and i'm dead impressed with how it lives up to the abuse i give it (i give it a LOT of abuse), and that one is pretty feminine. for a bit of backup i asked the ea (secretary) here, whos my age (23), and she said she thought it was a bit boring, and came up with the following..

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-DKNY-Women...QQcmdZViewItem

    http://store.nordstrom.com/product/p...97&dt=08-03-05

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Emporio-Ar...QQcmdZViewItem

now i dont really know what the better half would want - she'd be happy with anything cos i got it for her, but i want something she really likes iykwim. anyways.. my only criteria is that it should probably cost below £100 (cos she doesnt want an expensive watch), but below that any price is good (i'll just spend more on other stuff). it must be scratch resistant - does anyone know what i should look for for this? crystal face? mother of perl?? her current watch (storm - this one - http://www.stormwatches.com/images/w...iew_purple.jpg ) is basically boogered cos its too scratched - she wears the face on the 'inside' of her wrist (wierdo) so its constantly getting mashed. finally, i want to get her something thats been well made. nowt flimsey or tacky feeling, i want something that has that a good feeling of strength/quality to it (which is what led me to animal in the first place)..

so, any suggestions, or feedback on the above watches welcome..

The first DKNY watch is nice, the silver one..... saying that, there all nice
personally i prefer ones with metal straps, they last longer.... i'm sure she'll love whatever you buy

My watch is a silver sekonda Jon picked up at the car boot he's bought me expensive watches in the past and they never last me long, me and watches don't seem to get on.... saying that though, me car boot jobby has lasted me longer than any other iv'e had

i gotta say i like the choice you made with the animal watch, it's simple yet special, you can get away with wearing it with everything. TBH i'd go with your gut instinct.
    Sorry i'm not very helpful!

I'm told that women are never "just" late, they are always "fashionably" late.
