    What about the discussion part?

    I liked having the Nav too, are we using the buttons along the top now?
    Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
    Enwrought with golden and silver light,
    The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
    Of night and light and the half-light,
    I would spread the cloths under your feet:
    But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
    I have spread my dreams under your feet;
    Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.

    I used to use the forums link on the left, but I just hover over the HEXUS menu and click .community - in the same area so just as easy
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I actually spent more time trying to find the forums, 'discussion' is not a word commonly used for the forum areas, I really thought 'community' or 'forums' are much better as they are endemic with all other sites on the net. I alwasy have been put off by sites that have too much information on the front page and you have to search for the 'forums', worse if they are called 'discussion' IMHO.

    "Forums" sounds better IMO, and is straight to the point - everyone knows what it is. If I was looking for a forum on a site, then I'd look for the word forum.

    Its true change is never popular but on that note if you run IE in windowed mode then the menus are very long, off the page really the only way I can see whats on them is to maximise (not so good at work) and I just think alot of the descriptions just are not clear, whats the difference between

    Menu lag - May just be me but I find the menus laggy so I try my best not to use them but if I don't use them most of the structure to the site is lost.

    'Hexus.initiatives' and 'interviews', why is one Hexus. and the other not? Why are some menu items in Caps and others not..you have

    'honourable retailers'

    then

    - SCAN UK ?? looks messy tbh

    Left hand menu
    .categories - is what I'm looking for as its a tech site so this should be at the top IMO

    anyway I like the site as usual but I think the front page is a bit too cluttered and difficult to get into, its hard to see on first glance what you want and what the site offers....

    Now I'm going to annoy the entire Hexus team by saying... I've never liked the menus at the top. I don't like menus with drop down lists - I prefer them static.
