I'm not entirley sure what an emo is as I don't think I've ever met one. I've met plenty of goths though .

    Dictionary style definition

emo (see also mallxcore) the kids you often see sat outside virgin/hmv, huge fringes that cover one eye (usually black hair), tight jeans (more often than not womens) and some kinda band t-shirt (the bands name normally involving - revenge, valentine, romance or something stupid), cardigans and thick black rimmed glasses are also a common accessory for the more hardcore emo user, they can often be spotted at gigs or at clubs looking very moody looking at members of the opposite sex while close to tears as even thought they don't know the persons name they are sure they are in love with them. emo chicks are also notoriously easy to get into bed as they think this increases they're chance of finding true love.

Another way to go Emo spotting is go to any metal gig, for instance a Fear Factory gig, look for the fool who is in a mosh pit with 400 other metallers and they are the only one with the beenie hat, as if they are about to break down and wearing a tshirt from a band called The Used and the only one with a glass of wine in their hand. I think he left after 30 minutes of being battered in the Mosh pit, he kept complaining as people were bashing into him. Sorry to point this out, either learn what a pit is or leave. All he did was moan all bloody night, 5 more minutes and I would of kicked him out myself.

I changed my hair colour in march to "Ebony - Darkest brown" - apparently washes out in 6 weeks.... my arse!(that's not a swear word anymore you know, they say it on day time tv now! pfft!) I really like it, but my mate who was away for 6 months and hadn't seen it yet, came home at the weekend and was a bit shocked. She liked it but she was finding it odd at first cos she's used to seeing me with really light brown hair.

A change in image is good now and then, maybe not everything all at once cos people may think u're trying to hide something and change your identity but the odd thing isn't so bad! A lot of people change what they look like before going to uni cos it's a fresh start and wont really know anyone so can decide who they want to be. I'd say don't try too hard, just be urself and dont try to be someone u arent.

I'm thinking about reducing the hair on the top of my head a bit more, and growing a bit more nostril hair.

I've had long hair for about 10 years now - it's just over half way down my back when tailed - and I've been considering getting that cut short short.. Never considered a tattoo tho....... <erk>

Considering I'm 19 and I'm constantly asked for ID wether it be when I buy a 15 rated game or buying a few drinks.

I concluded I'm dressing too young as I'm not prepared to cut my fro again or grow a mustache, I've decided to update my dress sense...

So I'll mostly be wearing dark baggy jeans, with dark t shirts and long coats as of the coming payday and topped off with regularly getting my hair cane rowed.

I'm not big on tatoos myself although I've been told one would suit me, a big dragon wrapped in firey vines on one of my (now) chiselled arms...

Should make me look a lil older.

P.S. Elmo, your avatar is strangely alluring.
