    RMA Query...

Last week my DVD Player refused to play anything... anyway cut short story even shorter, i had to ship it back. Doing this cost me £13, The item is definatly faulty and i noticed in micro mart (could of been a different mag) that if the item is faulty then its upto the store to pay the return cost.

Is this true or have i totally misunderstood?

yes you should get onto the company's finance department and tell them you had to RMA something and it cost you £13 and that the unit was DEFFINATLY faulty...

Explain to her you don't think you should pay the cost of postage as you were sent a faulty good and fingers crossed they should reimberse you.

Thanks Bunjiweb, I probably wouldnt of minded as much but the cost of the dvd player isnt a great deal higher than that return cost, just seemed a little unfair.

I will get in contact with them when i get back home later and see what they have to say about it. I'll probably have to mention that it could affect their chances of me buying from there again

It is my understanding of these things that you pay shipping one way, and the supplier pays shipping back. It is always the same with all the suppliers I have ever dealt with.

I understand now... it was just their website leads you into a single track thought, YOU have to return the item to them.

I didnt even question it till i had the bill for returning the dvd player.
