    the value of toys...

Hope someone can shed some light on this matter, I have lots (and lots) of old toys from the 80's and 90's. to be precise; transformers, star wars, he-man... etc
and I know that some of them are worth a small fortune.
I want to know if there's anywhere I can look to check their value but know of no where...does anyone?
    cheers

It's threads like these that seriously make me wish I hadn't given my Optimus Prime, Soundwave, Crash Dummies, 1st generation Thundercats, 1980s Ben Kenobi and Tie Fighter pilot toys to Oxfam...

I'm glad that I gave them away to a good cause and everything... but I could be rich! Riiiiiiiich!

If you go to any comic/action figure shop that imports american merch, you should be able to get a magazine called Toyfare (I think that's what it's called). It's a monthly job, and in the back pages of every issue it has an uptodate list of toys by genre/manufacturer/production line etc. All with prices as to what they might be worth.

I got the comic equivalent (Wizard) to help me value some of my rare comics when I sold them

All I've got in Bolton is a little underground shop called dominion comics (literally underground!). You go down the stairs, turn a corner, and theres a little 15x5 foot corridor with shelves of comics on either side. Seriously the best place I've been to buy comics etc. I don't do it anymore.. got too addicted to buying Deadpool comics/memorabilia in my school days
