My memory might be flawed from all those years ago, but I seem to remember that the guy should draw his sword automatically... do I need to pick one up first? if not how do I enter combat mode? I keep getting killed by the Vizier, or whoever it is in the gilt room

Absolutely fantastic. Shame I now can't get passed those metal 'doors'.. Flash version also seems somewhat less solid movement-control wise..
