About LinkBacksI would guess that they had some kinda explosives under table/mobo, to caus the CPU to come outta the socket...And if it had overheated then the core would have been damaged not the bit with the pins on???

Yeah it looks like the fan and heatsink was "holding it down" for whatever was underneath to punch through?
