Birthday Ideas

Trying to arrange someone's birthday(about 1 week before christmas). Trying to think if a few ideas of what to do for a group of anything up to about 10 people.

Was gonna book a "booze cruise" as live in portsmouth(uk), you go on the friday night, party starts about half 8 on board and finishes at 6am. then normally get off, go sightseeing(in local maccy d's and hypermarket) then back to the ship and get home sat evening. Recently found out they have stopped doing that(due to P&O pulling out of portsmouth)

Looking for something cheapish and want some suggestions for a couple of days at most(can be 1 or 2 days).

Person is a guy and will be 27.

Is there not any decent club you can organise a VIP birthday treat to ? Most clubs give discount, free entry and some bubbly to the lucky person in Manchester
