Quite weirdly if you type my name in it comes up with a FHM high street honey who happens to be from the same town as me.

Like Schmunk, i get nothing, nadda, zip.

Funnily enough i just get loads of links to stuff about my brother, unless i search for my name as the exact phrase and i get one hit which is to do with a Hexus.net : user list, but clicking on it produces a Hexus 404 page

Not much.. I'm on a couple of Aussie university honour rolls, I get a mention in an obituary, and of course the expected links to Stephen Larkham, Aussie international rugby bloke.

It's so weird to see people with your exact name, and even pictures... apparently I'm a really good poker player, an author, an adult-industry related dude and a motivational speaker, along with other things

    www.keithhawkins.com

So weird, I'm a british white guy, and some american black guy has my name! (yes its mine!) The difference makes the whole concept quite startling.

I come up as the real me on Google. A list of archive sites containing software (games) I used to write for the Oric-1 home computer many, many years ago! Who remembers the Oric-1?

I was looking at all of the drunken pictures on webshots.com. It consumed a good 2 hours of my life. Then, I went on to reading random msn blogs, looking for pictures of hot girls (seriously, I woke up too early this morning and was bored).

Might have been. If you're in your late 30's or early 40's you may remember that machine. It appeared a couple of years after the infamous Sinclair ZX80 and ZX81. I was so skint I used to write rubbish games for home computers and send them into magazines just to earn a few quid.

In fact, I was so poor I didn't even have a printer. I once wrote an simple extension to BASIC for the Amstrad CPC-464 (the one with the cassette player attached!) to provide double height characters. I had to hand-write the assembler listing. The magazine spent a few days typesetting the listing from my handwritten notes and sent me a printer in sympathy!
