wonder how long it took to render.....
then i wonder how long (years) it would take to render on my 3000winchester... HA
Some of those are absolutely breathtaking - I love CGI (except when used in a majority of films!)
Not all that long, Vue 5 is pretty quick as long as you don't go nutsOriginally Posted by UKMuFFiN

"Created with Vue 5 Infinite. Took 20 hours to render."
That's for: A place to rest. Amazing picture
Yeah, got that as my desktop nowOriginally Posted by Famished
CGI scenes almost always look cold, hate them as wallpaper
Vue 5 is simply amazing, I’ve only known about it since buying my first 3dworld mag 2 weeks back. I thought bryce could make some nice landscapes but when Vue 5 is on the scene theres no contest really, its way out in front imo, I’m seriously thinking about buying the program now and buying the back issue of 3dworld with the Vue 5 tutorial, the end result looks outstanding, (I think this is the finished render) This program instantly grabbed my attention and ive done quite a lot of reading on it. Vue 5 infinite is a bargain for what it can do to especially with academic pricing (around £247). My only concern is that my system won't handle the high quality stuff, I really need a P4 I think.Originally Posted by Famished
I love high quality CGI stuff a lot of it is inspirational i must admit, if you stand back with some of them pics (im looking at shimuna_revisited, created in terragen) it becomes quite hard to tell them apart from a real photo, simply outstanding. Good find XA

Amazing stuff, really good. I'd like to get to grips with some rendering packages, but am too lazy
