    What works for me is to throw myself into a cold shower or bath or even the pouring rain outdoors. Oops, its not raining today (what's happening with the weather - global warming *panic*)

    I believe that argument was actually used by McVitie's in this case.

    Oh yeah, that's your body kidding you mate. What will happen is that you WILL feel less tired now and towards the end of day.

    Later on I usually find that by bedtime you should feel more awake than you have all day and it takes a while to go to sleep.
