    i can't find my sellotape.

I never understand why watresses look at your funnily when you say "cola" because its pepsi/coke/virgin they just want you to use the brand name. Yet lemonade they always get when you mean sprite or 7up

That said, everyone who sends e-mails, text messages and instant messages knows that they are not formal methods of communication and as such, perfect spelling and grammar is not essential however, when I'm using MSN Messenger I type with the correct English as long as I have time, but if I'm having a heated debate / arguement then I degrade my english to something faster to type, for example, I usually type "thru" as ooposed to the correct "through"...

I think its good to type the correct English, with the correct terminology, grammar and spellings every now and again...

I personally think, Bob Geldof is a grumpy old man who has nothing to do but moan about everything and in his rant he forgot to notice that e-mails are an informal method of communication and were never intended to take over paper letters...

    And thats my 2 cents...

NOTE: I've taken great care to make sure that this post is free of errors and other defects so as to not be a hypocrite..
    Except for "arguement" of course....

Ah, but thats different isnt it, how often have you been in a place where they sold more than one brand of cola? Personally i always say coke, cos pepsi tastes like sweetened pig swill and id rather drink water.

I was under the impression at Sprite, and prehaps 7up as well there Lemon and Lime...

I alwase ask for coke, and am slighly disapointed by Pepsi, which doesnt have the same Massively sucsessful advertisng campain taste.
