How can you recommend a company if you never actually bought something off them?

yeah they went bust.....at least i thought so. Vionic (company name) stopped trading i'm sure of it.

Just checked them out on the Companies House database and they are the same people i.e. both companies are registered to the same address so go figure.

What, same Director's and Company Sec as well?

Shame if they are dodgy, I've always semi-fancied one of those monolith mp3 players and they seem to be the only UK retailer. Oh well, I'll stick with my bargain bucket montrosity I bought from Scan

Edit: had a look myself; I think there are two companies being confused here - Advancedmp3players Ltd are the same as MP3 Players.co.uk Ltd (with a space), but the company which has been dissolved are MP3players.co.uk Ltd (no space) which was registered at a separate address. But, when I was registering my company I couldn't have gotten a name that was so similar to another company so maybe they are all the same. Aargh it's so complicated...

no I think you will find advmp3 are perfectly fine - the one that went bust had some issues...
