    Blacklisted my phone? wft t-mobile?

I have a phone with dual sim card reader in it connected to my sim. I've been using it with a PAYG number and a special sim that gives me 1000 free texts.

That special sim has expired, and I got another from t-mobile. I try to ring and get a tri-tone - can't dial the activation line. I use saynoto0870 and get a free phone number and ring 'em. They tell me the phone is blacklisted!

Well, that's odd, cos I can still make calls on it!

I ring Orange and get told no, the sim card is fine and t-mobile is talking rubbish. I ring o2 and get told the same - no problems on the phone. Ring vodaphone (I've got a lot of sims) it's fine!

I guess the test would be to stick a virgin sim in it ;- )

anyway... I ring lost and stolen on t-mobile and they retest and their engineers tell her it's definately blacklisted. She won't elevate my call, won't pass me onto a customer services rep or anything. Even customer services won't pass me onto anyone else.

I tell 'em all their technical people need to do is ring o2 or orange and they'll be told otherwise - the blacklisting system is supposed to be interlinked! But they're not having it!

Well, most people would say 'who cares' but I'm a bit of a git when it comes to these things. I'm going to harass them to the ends of the earth just for the satisfaction (and compensation) of them giving me a free sim card and 1000 free texts. Call it perverse, call it spam, call it what you will, but I enjoy making large companies cry.

Easiest thing to get it sorted is probably togo into a store and do it, then when they tell you its blacklisted ring o2 infront of them.

    T-Mobile don't have stores.

Edit: It appears they do. I've never seen one though.

I do have one in town, but it's xmas and they never seem to be in any rush to serve

All I was told was 'buy a new phone' to which I told 'em to stick their phone card! I'm not worried about being on T-Mobile, tbh, I'd rather have my teeth pulled out, but now I've learnt I'm black listed I'm worried it'll spread to other networks.

I've written a complaint to ofcom and I'll send a letter to the director tomorrow :- )
