Pffft, if I was the bidder I wouldn't pay for it! What an idiot. Although I must admit I only did read the full description because you said to, it was so dull. Unlucky guy, really.

I'd never buy anything on ebay without reading everything fully.

Looks like a hacked acount to me, anyway. All the seller's other sales are for obscure radio and lazer stuff, and the styles are very different.

Right that's it... If someone can flog Britney Spears' chewing gum, the left overs of a snadwixh eaten by Madonna and the air Brad Pitt breathed I'm sure I can make some money from my Xbox 360.

First up, a recording of the drive bay opening and closing... then there's a jar full of exhaust air (very warm at time of collection, temperature of contents may be lower upon delivery) and finally, two of the plastic bags it came packed in (one with slight tear).

I'll start the bidding at just £1 per item but there is a reserve in each.

Could you do me a sachet of exhaust air?, I don't need a whole jar.

Someones already done the "listen to my Xbox" auction. He would phone you up and you could request to hear anything that the 360 could do. Music of your choice, a game being played, the start up noise or even the sound of the drive spinning.

I wonder how much i could have got for a picture of the 360 with single flashing red light on ring of light, or a picture of the E74 error code. Damn, was a bit slow out of the blocks there

It was the bidders own stupid fault really, teh seller didnt do anything illegal/break the rules of ebay..well done to him I say.

If the buyer doesnt pay then its the buyer that is at fault, if s/he had read the auction they would have known it was just a picture..so there is no case for not paying up..although i suspect the buyer would just not pay and accept the poor feedback/None paying bidder record

You see this all over ebay though, especially with mobile phones and people just selling links. It's annoying but as long as your careful you will be ok.
