I spent Christmas in hospital, so when I woke up this morning I unwrapped myself.

    Santa left this:

I think the plaster is there for where the epidural was.

My lung collapsed again (See: My first collapsed lung thread from October) on Monday, so off to the hospital I went. Because this is the third time it's happened, it's pretty much guaranteed it will keep happening, so they said the best option is to have an operation to prevent it, so I said sure.

Basically it invloved opening me up and scraping the lining or something off my lung so that my lung sticks to my chest wall, stopping it from being able to collapse - Not too sure off the ins and outs of it, havn't really looked into it yet due to only getting out today.

I have a few more holes and scars on me from the whole thing, will post them later maybe.

    - Sony Ericsson k750i
    - Sony MiniDV camcorder (wayhey)
    - £200 in cash from various people.
    - £50 Jessops voucher
    - Shure e2c earphones
    - Maxtor OneTouch II 300gb external harddrive
    - PSP with a couple of games and 1gb memory stick. Got that a month back though.
    - Football Manager 2006 (most used present so far)
    - Some luverly K-Swiss trainers, the ones with velcro straps rather than laces.
    - 24 Season 4 and The OC Season 2 DVD boxsets
    - The World According to Clarkson and Ashes Fever books
    - Sweets, smellies, boxers, socks. You know, the generic Xmas stuff that it wouldn't quite be Christmas without from various people.

Also getting additional money towards a Dell 2405fpw 24" LCD sometime in January.

My pile of presents looked incredibly small compared to previous years, but it was definately a case of quality not quantity. There's nothing that'll get a couple of uses then chucked to the back of the wardrobe. Bit odd getting a MiniDV camera from my girlfriend's mam and dad though, surely they know what it'll get used for...?
