I remember posting this in the gaming forum a while back but it's still good to see it again.

game play and the true king of 1 on 1 beat 'em ups (lets face it - this got everyone into them really) and one of the true champions of the snes (unlucky 3 button megadrive owners) Street fighter is the winner.

For being a ground breaker though, motortal kombat, I mean good solid game play (was almost as good as SF2) but - human video as the playable charaters, interaction with the playing field, gore - real gore and of course - death moves.
    It is Inevitable.....

Mortal Kombat, so much more serious, so much more gritty and fun

Those flahses pwn hard though, make me wish there was a SF vs. MK game.

I'd love to see Ryu & Chun-Li (my fav SF pair) vs Scorpion & Sub Zero (or MK2 Jade).

Actually, I kinda lost interest in SF during the SF Alpha period. I only regained an interest when I played the SF vs Marvel on DC.

I'd love to see an SF vs MK game though.

They created a six-button joypad for playing Street Fighter on the Mega Drive.

Not sure which I'd go for (unless we're talking about 3D versions, in which case it'd have to be Mortal Kombat). I've been playing Street Fighter since the original game was released on the Commodore 64, and it's a great beat-em-up. Mortal Kombat, however, seems to involve a lot more tactical gameplay. I just can't decide.
