I hope it is scarey, I found the original more hilarious than scarey... was like a scooby doo episode... including dodgy masks!

Yup as quite amusing, did get boring during some parts though. Lets hope this is alot better and maybe isn't as funny.

Hey hey, apparently ladies sometimes mistake fear for arousal, so such a film might have been a good choice.

I have the original here and ready to watch. Not sure I want to though it seems it will be a bit scary for me.

I did watch House of 1000 Corpses though. That was one messed up movie! Not scary as such, just freaky!

I found the origional Texas Chainsaw comical, mind you it is quite creepy in places must admit !

Going to see what a mate of mine says before I go see this one.

Mind you, just noticed that Alien has been rereleased, thats a must see at the big screen as its the only one I havn't seen at the cinema.

mojo - it's as scarey as the 'halloween special' episode of scooby doo.

'Ooh a big old empty scarey lookin' house with odd noises coming from the back... I'll go in! I'm sure it's perfectly safe!!'

i'm gonna go see this tomorrow i think. plannin on takin a young lady i know who gets scared easily... "of course you can hide down there" ahem... i still havn't seen the 1st one, but i plan on doin it. i aint gonna make the mistake my mate alan made - we told him resident evil was a comedy, so he took 3 pills and went to see it - ended up being carried out by pissed-off security cos he was screaming so much, lol.

    Crikey mikey!

Well the only reason I would watch it then is for it's reputation as a classic. It sure as hell seems like a classic when you hear magazines or tv shows talking about it. (although I have been told magazines don't talk).

Oh and I am so upset - not annoyed, genuinly upset - that Alien Directors Cut isnt showing in UCI cinemas. My 'local' (2 bus journeys) is a UCI and Alien is one of my favourate films and I would love to see it on the big screen. Curse UCI!
