High quality passport holder/cover required

I've just got my passport renewed today. I used the Premier service and opted for the 48-page passport instead of the 32-page one. It cost an eye-watering £105 but I did get a new passport after 4 hours. Anyway, the quality of the passports being issued now is very poor. The cover is cheap and the paper is cheap. As my passport is used nearly every week I cannot see it lasting 10 years! My old one was very tatty but it was built to much higher standards.

Anyway, does anyone know of a good quality passport holder/cover for UK passports? There are hundreds on E-Bay but these look cheap and nasty. I'm after something made from very high quality leather that perhaps can be customised with your initials. Nothing flashy but just a good quality cover for the passport.

i would recomend going and having a look/feel rather than buying online if you are concerned about quality. John Lewis should have some. Staying in london you should have plenty of choice

I'd second the Smythson option. Beautifully made and very nice. Good range of colours too if you fancy it in perhaps pink, or alternatively blue if that's your thing

Thanks guys. I quite like the Mulberry ones but i'm travelling on Wednesday so will look at the airport shops as well. I agree with Funkstar, there's no substitute for having a feel...

where are you flying from? I never thought of that, but i would be surprised if you couldn't get something at any of the big airports.

Heathrow 99% of the time. Off to Lisbon on Wednesday, Terminal 2 so the shops aren't so great. T1 and T4 much better for shopping.
